thank you Eviltwin I just don´t understand these two damping stage info. Old sphere have fixed bore ratio and aditional damping elemnts around shock absorber. In normal ride the fluid only pass through small hole inside sphere, but on road surface bumps, when pressure and speed of fluid inside suspension piston is high, the fluid also pass through these additional damping elements. But in the specifications of the old spheres only diameter of central hole(bore) is mentioned. So the spec is look like 500/75/1,9 (for example front CX) If I understand it correctly, on C5 spheres the second parameter is a diameter of aditional damping hole ? (0,48mm) So in the middle is 0,9mm hole and additional holes have diameter 0,48 ? On the old spheres it was an opposite way.... http://oto.to/schematy/poradnik/damper00.jpg Is there any picture ? A.

Thank you eviltwin I know suspension setup on C6 (C5 III) is different to old C5 and XM. I am just wonder, how these spec. differ from old setup... I guess, not that even volume of spheres are smaller, the diameter is smaller as well. When I drive my C5 (type II year 2007) and compare comfort with my old XM, I must say it is much harder sprung than XM. Especially on speed bumps the difference is enormous If central (hydractive) spere have volume 385cc(on C5) instead 500cc(on XM) there must be difference (in soft setting), more just suspension type setup. I think it is just because German cars have firm suspension, Citroen "germanized" suspension on C5 to get closer to German competitors. right now I just realized (thanks your note) that I don´t know where is actualy place for rear AMVAR shock absorber ? Central Valve seems to small for it ( and I don´t see two electric wires for each side ), maybe they are positioned at the end of rear rods, like front Amvar setup. Hello, Where can I find C6 spheres specifications ? I mean: pressure , diameter (bore) of shock absorber ? I know already volume is identical to C5 385cc for Sphere. But C6 uses Amvar, variable shock absorber, so I guess there is no shock absorber inside sphere as usual. They are without shock absorber just as an accumulation sphere ? But anyway, is there a table with information about spheres pressure and shock absorber diameter (bore) for each models ? (include C5). And any info about diameters inside hydroactive regulator with sphere( on XM it was 1,1 -1,25mm ) on middle on each axle. is it the same on new C5/C6 ? thanks for info A.
